Overview

Qwik-Kits have been designed for reliability, ease of installation, and for integration with most Building Automation Systems. The Qwik-Kits deliver tremendous value by utilizing the existing lighting control panel enclosure, relays, and line voltage conduit and wiring. This approach reduces the retrofit equipment and labor costs, and it leverages the initial investment in the original lighting control panel. The Qwik-Kits also offer guaranteed compatibility with most low voltage controlled lighting relays. Once installed the Qwik-Kits are network ready for integration directly the Building Automation System.

Retained Value of Initial Capital Investment

Over time, as the initially installed lighting panel migrates towards obsolescence, and the decision is made to replace or convert, the Lumisys Qwik- Kit™ can be easily implemented in order to extend the value of the initial capital investment, while greatly increasing the panel’s useful life.

Qwik-Kits replace the exiting lighting control panel electronics. All existing line voltage wiring, relays, power supply, enclosure and low voltage wiring remain in place thereby substantially reducing the cost of conversion while leveraging the initial investment in the original lighting control. After replacing the electronics the low voltage relay termination can be made to the Relay Interface Board (RIB) and the low voltage switches can be terminated on the LMB inputs.
